Museum „Alka“ historical narrative with 3D animation

The Žemaitija Museum “Alka” is one of the most prominent regional museums in Lithuania, presenting the rich history and cultural heritage of Žemaitija. The BMK team created a historical narrative with 3D animation, revealing the architecture, development, and significance of the museum building in today’s context.
The project is intended for both educational purposes and public use – visitors can access the content using a QR code, which allows them to view the story and 3D images on smart devices.

Content creation

The work combines 3D reconstruction, video narration, filmed material, and professional voice-overs.
Using high-resolution photographs and modern reconstruction technologies, an accurate 3D model of the museum building was created, conveying authentic architectural details.
The short, 4-minute film tells the history of the museum, showing the most important stages of its development and cultural context. The content is presented in Lithuanian with English subtitles, and the narration is voiced by a professional voice actor, adapted for public presentations.
