Kaunas Central Post Office

Each space in Kaunas Central Post Office is designed by a different artist. BMK implemented seven audio and video solutions, using a total of 15 projectors and 15 audio players:

• Two projectors were used to project the image onto a curved, uneven screen. This solution is unique in that the image base is curved and must be reflected on the curtain, so it was necessary to find ways to align the two projectors so that the image would meet the artist’s expectations.
• Projection and sound solutions were created in the middle of the spiral staircase. The projector attached at the bottom transmits the image brightly and clearly, and the projection is visible even from the upper floor.
• Different image and sound solutions on both sides. With the help of the projector, the image suddenly stops and instantly switches to the image behind us. This solution required precise and detailed coordination between the projectors and speakers.
• Image projection on the wall, where only white text on a black background is visible and changes synchronously.
• Projection onto three connected circles. We had to precisely align the image in the circles and synchronize the displayed images with each other.
• A projected image is inserted into the art installation, which changes automatically and does not require additional maintenance.
• The image is displayed in the middle of the curtains using a projector. The image appears to float in the air.
