Mathematics video lessons for grades 9-10
Mathematics video lessons for grades 9-10 were created as part of the National Education Agency’s project “Digital Education Transformation (EdTech)”. The aim of the project is to improve the quality of inclusive, accessible, and technology-enriched teaching and learning processes and achievement assessment. The video lessons in mathematics help to solve problems related to students’ difficulties in geometry and trigonometry and combine theory with real-life examples so that students can apply their knowledge more easily.
BMK solution
BMK implemented a solution that included the creation of 50 video lessons, 10 of which were translated into sign language to ensure accessibility for all students. Using eGlass technology, the visual material was presented in a modern and visually appealing way. Much attention was paid to geometry and trigonometry topics to help students better understand complex concepts, as they often encounter difficulties when applying formulas and solving text problems.
Benefits for schools
Video lessons help improve the quality of learning and make it possible to include a wider range of students, including those with hearing impairments. Teachers and students appreciate the modern, visual presentation of the material, which helps them understand and apply mathematical knowledge more clearly.
